a more in-depth description of each experience, destinational
information and an opportunity for you to meet our
tour leaders. The evenings are informal but informative
and your attendance does not oblige you to anything
more. Presently these are only held in ChCh, but later
in the year we will be conducting a south Island roadshow
in an endeavour to reach as many people as possible
face to face.

We’re delighted to present our selection of small
group experiences for 2017, a very special edition
for us, as we celebrate 20 years in business. You
may well have helped decide where we go this year,
as several destinations were chosen in response to
questionnaires and surveys we conducted. From our
perspective this is another step in ensuring we’re
offering the destinations you most want to see.
Although we’ve mentioned it many times previously we still feel the need to differentiate between our tours and a typical ‘tour’ as some know them. The word ‘tour’ doesn’t adequately describe the experience we endeavour to deliver to each guest personally, to every destination, every time. Doing something new and exciting for the first time, waking up in a city that you once only dreamt about, or discovering a hidden gem in the most unlikely of places, is the realisation of lifelong dreams for some, and we take that responsibility seriously.
In a nutshell that’s the Travel 2 U small group experience, point of difference. ‘Seeing’ them is one thing, how you truly experience them is quite another.
As you flick through the following pages you’ll notice for the first time ever there are no prices mentioned. The main reason for this is because many of our suppliers can’t provide accurate enough pricing at the time we go to print, and we don’t believe an estimate with a given increase over the previous years price is acceptable in itself.
We still want to encourage our prospective guests to join us early once again,
so we’ve repeated the early-bird incentive
of $300 p/person discount off the final price, along
with a reduced deposit of $1,000 p/person for deposits
paid on or before 30 September 2016. Furthermore,
when you book early you get the first choice of stateroom
if a cruise is involved. Once prices have been finalised,
all those who’ve paid deposits will be advised and
if you decide for any reason that you don’t want to
join us you’ll have ten working days to let us know
and we’ll refund your deposit in full, that’s how
confident we are in the value of our experiences.
As always, the last word is reserved especially for
those who have travelled with us previously. We thank
you for choosing to join us, for some of you on many
occasions, and we look forward to seeing you again
at future reunions and hopefully on one of our personally
escorted small group experiences in 2017.
