Established in 1997 by Andrew Fibbens, Travel 2 U was set up to cater for the changing needs of todays traveller. Based in a 90-year-old villa in suburban Christchurch (New Zealand) off the beaten track and in tranquil surroundings, we wanted to offer a more personalized service to those who still enjoy talking over their travel plans without feeling rushed or pressured.

Our clients needs come before the more conformist trend of mass turnover. We want to truly understand what each client is looking for in their travel plans and offer recommendations that will not only provide a memorable and wonderful experience, but also one which realistically fits within their budget.

Travel 2 U is a fully TAANZ (Travel Agents Association of New Zealand) Bonded travel agency, carrying out the 'normal practices' of a travel agent, but also offering a raft of other services including escorted tours both from New Zealand, and within New Zealand to our international guests through our sister company SeeNZ tours. We are also a fully licensed member of I.A.T.A, (the International Air Transport Association) a body recognized across the globe.

In addition to our more personalized service we wanted to be able to offer our services to the wider traveling community, who, although may be unable to avail themselves of our comfortable surroundings when making their travel arrangements, could still enjoy personal service from a truly independent travel firm, offering the security of a national bonding, meaning their money was secure. To do that we have established this minor web presence, which only barely scratches the surface of the vast range of goods and services we can offer at Travel 2 U and SeeNZ tours.

Services including car rentals, hotels, all major airlines, coach tour companies, cruises, special interest tours, fully escorted groups, inbound group tours and charters…..to name a few.

Simple. Our overheads are low and we have a combined history in the travel industry of over 100 years so we know what we are talking about and how to establish the best deal for you, our client. Just as importantly, no matter whether we greet you in person or over the net, we still remember the reason we are in business is because of you, we value your custom and we want it to be a life long mutually beneficial relationship.
